Every expense knows where it belongs.

monobank writes into the app by itself. Every other card, the cash in your pocket, what a friend owes you and an instalment plan sit in the same list — one screen, one total, any currency.

monobank pulls its operations in on a token. The rest are cards you keep by hand — they still get their own mark.

Every expense knows where it belongs.

The bank writes it down

1 second

Connect monobank with a token and it writes for you from then on: the card pays, and the operation is in the feed before the receipt is out of the printer, already under a category. A move between two of your own accounts is read as a transfer, so it is never counted as spending twice. Every other bank — anywhere in the world — is kept by hand, and everything below this line works exactly the same.

One list, not five apps

6 kinds of row

Anything that can be counted in money is one row of the same list, under one total.

  • A card at a bank with an API, and a card at a bank without one.
  • Cash in a pocket, a jar in dollars, a total per currency.
  • What a friend owes you and an instalment plan are rows too, each with its own balance.

Writing one down

4 ways

Expense, income, transfer, debt — four buttons on one sheet, and the sheet opens from every tab.

  • The amount field does the arithmetic: type 240+180.
  • One receipt, several categories.
  • A shared bill splits across people, and each part becomes a debt of its own.

Nothing stays unnamed

2 left

Rules name most operations before you ever see them.

  • What they cannot name waits in a queue of its own.
  • Four likely categories sit under each operation.
  • One tap, and it is filed.
Nothing stays unnamed

Where the month went

30 days

Spending by category over the last thirty days, largest first.

  • The surprise of the month turns up as the top line.
  • A category opens into its subcategories.
  • What was charged to the category itself stays visible under them.

The app talks to your bank directly. No data broker sits in between collecting statements, and the bank token is sealed before it is ever written down.

On the phone
A PIN and Face ID over the whole app.
In the chat
A Telegram bot writes an expense into the same list, under the same rules.
On the way out
Every operation exports to CSV whenever you ask for it. Nothing is held hostage.

The language belongs to you, not to the device. Categories are written in the one you picked at the start and are yours to rename — the code looks them up by key, never by the word you read.
